KEY ISSUES
-
When I am elected, I will ensure that Congress prioritizes the revitalization of farms and rural communities in West Texas.
Both parties have long forgotten rural communities. I pledge to advocate for these communities in Washington.
I will implement a plan to increase funding opportunities and freeze interest rates on loans for small, family-owned farms.
My policy would be to focus on soil and water management by prioritizing sustainable farming practices to ensure a successful future for West Texans and their families.
When farmers succeed, West Texas succeeds.

I promise to fight to fully fund Medicaid, Medicare, Social Security, and Veterans Affairs.
These institutions are crucial in supporting our working families and veterans, and they are under attack.
Every day, American citizens have paid into Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security for decades; you deserve to see the fruits of your labor, not have it given to billionaires for tax cuts.
Inspired by the ideals of the Great Society, laid out by the great Texan, Lyndon B. Johnson, we must protect our country’s working class and the patriots who sacrificed for it.
Enshringing these systems in perpetuity is vital to the sustainment of our democracy, its workers, and our veterans.
-
Large companies have been allowed to monopolize our economy for far too long, threatening our farmers and working class families.
Inspired by the Bull Moose, Theodore Roosevelt, we must ensure that the American economic engine is allowed to diversify and that all people are allowed to participate.
When I am elected, I will encourage and support effective economic competition in America.
When large, unpatriotic monopolies are broken up, West Texas farmers and workers will benefit and succeed.

As someone who has personally sworn to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, I will not stand idly by while it is in dire need of defense from unelected billionaires and the far right wing conservatives who support them.
Many politicians in D.C. are making up their own rules in an unjust override of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, but I promise to fight for all parts of both documents.
The defense of the Constitution and Bill of Rights is one of my core values and crucial to the future of our country.
I will proudly defend both with the Second Amendment.
